Start a Random Map Game with an AI opponent and an AI ally. During a massive raid of an AI base by a human players force, the AI player can rebuild important military buildings almost instantly if only a single citizen survives

A single citizen, for instance, can rebuild a Tower quicker than a fully upgraded battle ship can take it down. Even though the AI has no longer any resource gathering citizen, it will never run out of food and will perpetually train citizen.ĪI players can train units and build structures in a fraction of the time it takes the human player. A small military force waits in front of the building and kills every Citizens immediately after it has been trained. This can be prove by raiding an AI's base until only one Town Center or Capitol remains. Therefore, a key element in RTS warfare is only available when playing against human opponents. This means that it is impossible to starve an AI opponent off resources.

So if you want to get away from the Vortex grind and just have fun dominating the map, play some Vampire Coast.AI players have virtually no need to gather Resources as they are provided unlimited resources for free. The Necrofex is just amazing to watch and the Leviathans are super cool to watch when they are tearing up blobs of infantry. It also helps the Vampire Coast DLC has some really awesome units. Whether you want to build a big army and destroy people or take your time and gather resources, it doesn’t matter a whole lot. Rather than worrying about stopping Vortex rituals, you can just focus on playing your game. Separated from the Vortex campaign, all the vampire coast factions are trying to kill a giant serpent. Obviously, this is gonna be rather subjective however, I found that the Vampire Coast was an extremely fun DLC to play, and Luthor Harkon’s Vampire Coast faction was the best campaign I’ve played. Most Fun Campaign Faction Luther Harkon from the Vampire Coast So if you are looking for an easy starting faction for the Mortal Empires campaign, choose Lothern. And that isn’t even mentioning the borderline OP units that elves have in Warhammer 2. Tyrion is also one of the best Lords in the game, who can hold off hordes by himself. Meaning you can quickly build a massive economy without fear. They are surrounded by allies who are likely to accept trade agreements and for the first 20-30 turns, you will only fight wars you start.

Lothern has one of the easiest starting areas of any faction in Warhammer 2. However, I believe that Tyrion has it best and here is why. I’m not gonna cheat and say to use Itza in this campaign as well, instead, I’ll give you a fresh ME campaign faction to use.įor this campaign, I would say that either Tyrion or Malekith has the strongest starting faction (Lothern or Naggarond). Best Mortal Empires Campaign Faction Lothern Don’t forget that this is a hero unit, meaning you can stick him inside any army you want and you can have whatever lord you wish tank/blob enemies for Lord Kroak. KroakĪs you can see in the screenshot above, Kroak doesn’t mess around. Unsurprisingly, he is a beast on the battlefield as well, with screenshots existing of him killing hundreds of units at level 1. The reason Itza is so strong is that Gor’Rok is a surprisingly strong frontline that starts with the best hero character in the game, Lord Kroak.įor those of you who don’t know the Warhammer lore, Lord Kroak is as close to being a god as any character from Warhammer 1 and 2. Itza was released just a month ago and it is already the best Vortex campaign faction to play as. Most veteran Warhammer players will not be surprised by this faction taking the #1 spot. This article includes all the recent DLC as of 2019, so I will be comparing everything from the Vampire Coast to the Hunter and the Beast. I’ll discuss the strongest faction and most fun campaign faction as well. Today I am going to be showing you the best total war Warhammer 2 campaign faction for both the Vortex campaign and Mortal Empires campaign. Best Total War: Warhammer 2 Campaign Faction
